Coinbase Global and Block both issued blowout fourth-quarter results late Thursday after the market close, but their stocks have headed in opposite directions.
Coinbase (ticker: COIN) closed Friday down 1.5% at $176.83, while Block (SQ), formerly called Square, gained 26.1% to $119.82, its biggest one-day gains in at least three years.
